Born in England, Andrew Clunn emigrated to the United States and became an  apprentice to David Webb in 1963. Clunn worked for Webb for almost 12 years in various sales positions in the company, eventually becoming Webb's right hand man and working with premier clients like the Duchess of Windsor and Elizabeth Taylor until Webb died in 1975.

In 1980 Clunn opened his own atelier on Madison Ave in New York City specializing in unique and distinctive jewelry designs for distinguished families in Europe and North America. He died in February 2016 in Rye, NY.
